Meeting each child where they are – siblings attend EI and Woodbridge School

A family with two children

Everyone experiences the Professional Center for Child Development (PCCD) at their own time and in unique ways. Alex and Kristin Lau’s children are enrolled in Early Intervention (EI) and Woodbridge School. Kristin says, “both of my   kids love attending EI and Woodbridge School! Emersyn typically asks if she can go back to school before even getting to the car at pickup. She adores her wonderful teachers, has made many new friends, has gained so many new skills and confidence.”

After moving to Andover, the families’ oldest daughter, Emersyn continued to require EI. Her mother shared, “PCCD was recommended to us by our former EI program, and it was such a pleasant experience from the first phone call I made. Everyone I interacted with was nothing but welcoming and eager to help. The transfer, subsequent referrals and evaluations were painless and even enjoyable!” Emersyn moved beyond EI (at age 3) and is now thriving friends at PCCD’s Woodbridge School.

At the same time, the Lau’s younger son, Davis had an EI evaluation, “He’s been attending EI sessions for about 2 months now, and we see such a huge difference already! Not to mention the social and motor skills he gains from being in a Woodbridge classroom on a regular basis.” shared his mother, Kristin.

Nurturing the growth and potential of EVERY child is the mission at PCCD. Each child brings their own strengths, challenges, and talents, – PCCD meets children and families where they are.
