Early Intervention Services are provided to children aged infant up to three years old who are experiencing developmental delays or are at risk of development delays.
We work with children and their families throughout the Greater Lawrence (Andover, Lawrence, Methuen, and North Andover) communities as well as the Greater Lowell (Billerica, Chelmsford, Dracut, Lowell, Tewksbury, Tyngsborough, and Westford) communities.
We love to share stories about children to whom we provided Early Intervention Services when parents and caregivers give us an update on their child’s progress.
Meet Kathaleia: Then and Now Pictures

Angélica, Kathaleia’s mother, recently shared an update as her daughter is now attending school and doing well.
“Kathaleia is thriving. Every day she shows us how strong and capable she is. She uses her limbs beautifully, and while she still benefits from speech therapy and extra stimulation to help her arm fully integrate into all her activities, her progress has been remarkable”.
“She attends school now, where her teachers are incredibly caring and attentive. Thanks to Early Intervention Services, Kathaleia began her journey with the support, encouragement, and foundation she needed. It gave her confidence, independence, and the chance to shine.”

If you know of an infant or young child who is not meeting age-appropriate developmental milestones such as difficulty sitting up, talking, crawling, walking, or experiencing challenges with eating, sleeping, playing, and interacting with others, we welcome the opportunity to learn more and schedule a no-cost evaluation to see if the child qualifies for Early Intervention Services.
A referral is not needed as families are encouraged to reach out directly.
