Playgroups are for toddlers aged 2 to 3 years with a focus on play and positive social interactions.

Toddler and Pre-K Playgroups

Our Toddler Playgroups are open to all families looking to give their toddler an educational experience with their peers prior to pre-K or preschool. We serve families in local communities including, but not limited to, Andover, Lawrence, Methuen and North Andover.

Our Toddler Playgroups offer a safe, secure, and nurturing environment to help your child with social and emotional learning, developing motor skills, learning through play, and communicating with their peers and other adults.

Note: If your child turns three years old during one of our sessions (e.g., Winter), we welcome and encourage the child and family to continue to the end of the session.

Families are invoiced per seasonal session. Costs depend on the number of days per session. Payment is due during the session and can be paid online or via check.

Learning

Your child will learn a great deal in this first school experience. Prior to attending Pre-K or preschool.

  • Routine: toddlers thrive in a routine including learning when to sit for circle time and how to line up to go outside to play. So much is learned in 2.5 hours!

  • Play: children learn through play; this is important for their growth and development especially as a toddler.

Integrated Groups

Toddler and Pre-K playgroups

The Toddler Playgroups at Partners in Child Development offer an important experience for children. Our groups are integrated, including children who are receiving Early Intervention Services who attend one Toddler Playgroup each week. As your child’s first school experience, children gain a greater acceptance at an early age of other children’s strengths, differences, and abilities.
